Dongyue Pharma was established in 2001. The parent company (Shanghai Dongyue Biochem Co., Ltd) is located in Shanghai, while the manufacturing site is situated in Qidong, Jiangsu province, about 120km away from Shanghai.

Dongyue Pharma is run by several doctors and professors and focuses on the R&D and sales of pharmaceutical intermediates and API for anti-histamines, anti-virus, cardiovascular and anti-tumor drugs. In the past decade, Dongyue has successfully developed more than 40 products that have been put into industrial production.
